A charity fundraiser for Macmillan Cancer Support in Shipley will be headlined by Black Lace, the West Yorkshire band who had hits in the 1980s.
They first came to public attention after being selected to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest 1979 in which they finished in seventh position with the song Mary Ann.
They went on to have success with a number of party pop style hits such as Superman, Agadoo – their biggest international hit – and Do The Conga.
The event at the Shipley & District Social Club on Thursday, March 28, is called Black Lace Easter Eggstravaganza Part 2, following a similar event last year.
Tickets are available at the club at 70 Saltaire Road, near Hamilton’s the specialist chair shop. Call (01274) 583460.
