On Rembrance Sunday people across the district will gather to pay their respects to the men and women who gave their lives serving their country during two world wars and more recent conflicts.
As well as the national service taking place at the cenotaph in London, smaller services will be held at churches and war memorials across the country.
The Telegraph & Argus has opened its own on-line Book of Remembrance.
