The Hiding Place, showing the dilemma faced by a Dutch woman who helped Jews escape during the Nazi Holocaust, is tackled in a gritty new play being staged at Bingley Arts Centre.
Cornelia ‘Corrie’ ten Boom, from Amsterdam, was a Dutch Christian who, along with her father and other family members, helped many Jews escape.
Students from Bradford Christian School, in Bolton Woods, will tell her story. They will star in a three-day run of the play, starting on January 31. For more information, call the arts centre on (01274) 567983.
