A project funded by the Heritage Lottery and aimed at educating people about the hidden history around Bradford is recruiting volunteers.
Bradford Jewish Heritage tour guides are wanted for training beginning on Sunday, January 20.
Making Their Mark is a Heritage Lottery-funded project which aims to educate people about the history around Bradford, much of which is owed to a small but significant number of Jewish German merchants who began to settle in the city 180 years ago.
A spokesman said: “Their legacy is all around us in today’s Bradford, but is not always immediately apparent. We are training local people to become volunteer tour guides, and equipping them with the knowledge to lead their own trails by the end of the course.”
