A training session on small local websites for small communities is being held in Bradford later this month.
The free event will focus on the emergence of small local media and how it can provide new tools to connect small villages and neighbourhoods together.
It will look at introducing means of better connecting residents and organisations, including providing local news and updates, organising e-referenda, promoting local organisations and services, online bookings of community venues, and enabling discussion, campaigning and practical activity.
The session will be run by Jonathan Crewdson, a tutor with Neighbourhood Ventures.
It will take place on January 28, from 10am, at Perkin House in Grattan Road, the headquarters of the Society of Dyers and Colourists.
