Marie Curie Cancer Care is appealing for people in Bradford to donate an hour of their time this March, to hand out the charity’s daffodil pin in return for donations as part of the charity’s Great Daffodil Appeal.
The appeal is Marie Curie’s biggest fundraiser which encourages everyone to give a donation and wear a daffodil during March.
The money raised from the appeal will help Marie Curie nurses to provide more free care to local people with a terminal illness in the Marie Curie Hospice Bradford.
Lucy Burnett, community fundraiser for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Bradford said: “We need more than 500 people from the Bradford area to help us collect this March. I hope everyone will help us make this year’s appeal a success.”
