Bradford College has been honoured for its “excellence and commitment” to its international work.
The college was awarded the Association of Colleges (AoC) International Charter for its ethical approach to international activities, including its business development planning.
College principal Michele Sutton said: “We are delighted to be presented with the Charter, because the driving mission of our College is to help students from the region, nationally and internationally, achieve their potential and make a rewarding contribution to their own communities.
“Bradford has diverse multi-ethnic communities, and we’re proud to champion that diversity.”
The charter is presented to colleges that demonstrate excellence and commitment in their international work and the award will raise its profile overseas.
The college also holds a National Beacon Award for its outstanding contribution to equality and diversity from the AoC.
