Seven vehicles were broken into in the space of a week in Wibsey.
Police believe the same person is responsible for each break-in, which all happened in the past week.
The neighbourhood policing team for Queensbury, Royds, Wibsey, Odsal, Buttershaw and Woodside has just revealed the figures.
A police spokesman said: “Please look after your vehicles and ensure you lock them. Do not leave anything on display. We are doing a lot of work to catch the person breaking into vehicles in Wibsey.”
During the same week, Wibsey suffered four house burglaries and one vehicle theft.
There were also three vehicle break-ins in Queensbury, one burglary and one car theft. In the Royds area, there were two house burglaries, four other burglaries (such as from a shed or garage) and one car theft.
