Staff and customers of housing provider Incommunities raised nearly £15,000 for charities last year.
The biggest single sum raised was £5,409 by one of its directors, Peter Newbould, who cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
Mr Newbould completed the 1,575-kilometre ride in aid of Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Elderly people living in its sheltered schemes also showed their support for charity, with donations of more than £2,000 for a host of different causes, including Macmillan Cancer Support and Allerton Cat Rescue.
As well as fundraising, staff and customers have donated items for needy individuals and groups.
Last month, Bradford Foodbank was given 30 boxes of food collected from Incommunities’ offices.
More than 100 toys were donated to bring some festive cheer to families staying in supported accommodation at Octavia Court, and bags of toiletries were delivered to Bradford Deaf Community Association.
Geraldine Howley, Incommunities group chief executive, said: “I am extremely proud of the contribution of everyone connected with Incommunities in giving – big and small – to different charitable causes in 2012.
“This support is changing lives and reflects the contribution of so many people connected with the organisation - from staff to kind hearted residents and board members - to help people in need.”
