Plans to remove a chimney stack at a listed building have been refused.
Planning permission for the work at 37 Crag Hill Road, Thackley, Bradford, have been turned down by Bradford Council.
Planners were concerned about the way the chimney stack’s removal could change the building’s appearance.
In refusing the permission, a Council planner said: “The proposed removal of the existing chimney and chimney breast would significantly alter both the interior and exterior character and appearance of the listed building.
“The proposal would therefore be detrimental to the special architectural and historic interest of this listed building.”
