A disability sports organisation is combining its two Keighley youth sessions on the same evening.
The multi-sports and Paralympics sessions will run on Wednesdays at Uni- versity Academy Keighley.
Both are aimed at those aged 12 to 19 with disabilities and are part of Bradford Disability Sport and Leisure’s network of clubs.
Sports development officer Dean Carroll said Keighley Disability Sports Academy, which ran from 3.30pm to 4.30pm, provided multi-sport sessions. Members spend six weeks on each sport, such as football, rugby, tennis, cricket, athletics and basketball.
Mr Carroll said: “We then put them in touch with local clubs if they really enjoy a particular sport or show good skills or potential.”
The Paralympics club, which runs from 4.30pm to 6pm, concentrates on wheelchair sports such as basketball, volleyball and archery.
Anyone interested in joining should contact Mr Carroll on (01274) 437093.
