Two people were due to appear at Bradford Crown Court today charged with wounding a Keighley man who has been hospitalised since Christmas Day.
Sydney Bond, 64, was assaulted outside his flat on Spring Row on the afternoon of Christmas Day, and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious head injuries.
He is still being treated there, and doctors describe him as being in a stable condition.
Ashley Whyte, 22, of North Dean Road, Keighley and Lee Snowden, 23, of Laburnum Road, Shipley appeared before Bradford and Keighley Magistrates Court on New Year’s Eve charged with section 18 wounding and were remanded in custody until today’s Bradford Crown Court appearance.
