Photographs of well-known bands taken by a Steeton man are being exhibited at Keighley Musicians Centre.
Danny Payne’s pictures of gigs by acts like The Strokes, The Cribs and Marina & the Diamonds can be seen around the centre’s tuition rooms.
Mr Payne, 28, has taken the shots over the past five years since he started as a professional concert photographer.
The former Oakbank School student, who plays in local band Box Jellys, began his career shooting local bands like Laika Dog, Street Light City Movement and 15 Stories He built up a portfolio and then began covering more substantial events such as Bingley Music Live and Keighley Krawl.
Mr Payne said: “Photographing the bigger names really opened doors for me and I was soon photographing regularly at Leeds Academy for various music websites.”
Mr Payne has now shot more than 200 gigs and festivals across the UK, including Foo Fighters, Green Day, and the Stone Roses reunion at Heaton Park.
He takes photographs for music magazines and photo agencies, and his work has appeared in the Guardian and Sun and on the BBC.
As well as displaying large framed images, he is selling mounted prints in the Musicians Centre.
