An education worker is vowing to complete a 1,000km fundraising cycle through Cambodia after falling ill in the first week.
Anna McKeon, who is being cheered on by her parents in Otley, set off on the challenge on Christmas Eve and initially made good progress.
But Anna, who is raising funds for non-profit-making rural educational organisation PEPY, became ill at the end of last week after clocking up 156km.
That meant having to rest at the weekend, while the rest of the cycling group journeyed to the next stage,-but the 31-year old’s blog, pepyride8.wordpress.com, said she was determined to get back on track.
