A new exhibition charting the rise of Bradford furniture makers Christopher Pratts is on display at the city’s industrial museum.
Included in the exhibition are furniture, materials and objects from the Bradford Council-run museum's collections, some of which are on show for the first time.
The exhibition, which runs until April, traces the humble beginnings of the company to its rise as a family empire on North Parade.
Councillor Susan Hinchcliffe, the Council's executive member responsible for culture, said: “Christopher Pratt & Sons was an extremely popular store in Bradford and people have always had great memories of the company.”
Pratt's was established in 1850 and it designed and made furniture for a wide range of clients including churches, shops, banks and schools.
The company also restored the Chippendale bed and 18th century silk damask walls in the Red Room at Bolling Hall Museum.
The company moved to Leeds in 2003.
