THORPE Maria Christine nee King. Of your charity, please pray for the repose of the soul of Maria aged 73 years, who passed away peacefully at home on 20th July 2024 with her family by her side. The beloved wife of the late Reb, a much loved mum of Amanda and Leanna, a dear mother-in-law of Karl and Phil, a treasured grandma and great grandma and a good friend to many. May she rest in peace. To be received in to St Walburga's Catholic Church, Shipley on Monday 12th August at 6:00pm. Requiem Mass will take place on Tuesday 13th August at 11:30am prior to cremation at Shay Grange Crematorium. Will friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only but if desired donations in Maria's memory may be made to Yorkshire Cancer Research and a collection box will be available at church for this purpose.
