LONG Margaret Jean On 20th May 2024 peacefully at Anning House Care Home, Weymouth aged 93 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Geoffrey and much loved Mum and Nan to Juliet, Cathy, Anna and Harry. A family funeral service will be held in Weymouth on 12th June followed by a Memorial Service at All Saints Methodist Church, Abingdon on 17th June at 2.30pm. Family flowers only please. The daughter in law of Kathleen and Frank Long who used to live in Harrogate Street, off Otley Road, Bradford.
Kathleen was an aunt to me being my father’s older sister and I stayed in touch with Geoffrey and Margaret (and attended Geoffrey’s funeral in Abingdon).
RIP Margaret, I shall miss your news. Philip, West Yorkshire.
