HANDBY (nee Edwards) Maureen Elisabeth Maureen passed away peacefully at Steeton Court Nursing Home on May 16th 2024, aged 87. Maureen, a teacher of music in Bradford schools for most of her life, founded the Glen Singers, a well known local choir, who raised thousands for charity through concerts in and around Bradford and even abroad. Maureen will be sadly missed by her family and close friends. She was well loved and a joy to know.Tributes

I remember her as Mrs Kempster in Lapage middle school.
