CHRISTIE Leonora With deep sorrow we announce that Leonora Christie, loving wife to Harold Christie, beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sadly departed this world on the 20th December 2023 at the age of 84. Her warmth, kindness, and love touched all who knew her, whether personally or professionally in her capacity as a carer for the elderly, prior to retirement. Leonora was a well loved member of St Chads Church, and the community in which she lived. Leonora's funeral service will take place at 11am on 1st February 2024 at St Chads Church, Toller Lane, Bradford, BD8 9DE. The internment will take place at Scholemoor Cemetery, Necropolis Rd, Bradford BD7 2PS Following this, the reception will take place at The New Tyke, Thornton Road, Thornton, Bradford BD13 3DG In honour of Leonora's memory, the family appreciates and welcomes floral expressions of sympathy. Your flowers will be a comforting reminder of the beauty she brought into our lives. These can be sent to W. Lever Ltd, 524 Thornton Rd, Bradford BD8 9NB, 24 hours prior to the funeral.
