MITCHELL Ruby Valerie (Val) On 26th December, 2023, Val passed away peacefully at home aged 84 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Jim, much loved mother of David and Richard, mother-in-law of Sue and Liz, cherished grandma of Chris, Ben, Tom, Melissa, Sam and Connor and great-grandma of Ruby. Funeral service will be held at St Barnabas Church, Heaton on Friday, 19th January at 1pm. Will friends and family meet at the church. Family flowers only but if desired donations would be appreciated to Action for Pulmonary Fibrosis. A collection box will be available at the service. Bright clothing may be worn in memory of Val.
