DAVIES Jean It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jean Davies on 24th November 2023 at the age of 95. She passed away peacefully at Hillcroft Nursing Home in Morecambe in the presence of her family. Jean lived in Menston for 53 years before moving to Morecambe in 2019. As well as teaching for many years at Belmont Middle School in Baildon and St. Marys School in Menston Jean was a passionate member of Otley Choral Society as well as being actively involved in many local charitable organisations over the years. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons, John and Roger and her five grandchildren, Melanie, Andrew, Nicola, Stephen, and Tom. The funeral will be held at Morecambe & Lancaster Crematorium, Powder House Lane, Lancaster LA2 6AD at 12.20 pm on Thursday 14th December.
