SMITH Janet (nee Steel) Sadly passed away after a short illness, on 30th September 2023, aged 67 years. Will relatives and friends please meet at Rawdon Crematorium on Monday 23rd October at 1pm for service and cremation. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, would be appreciated for Yorkshire Cancer Research and Stroke Association. A box will be provided for this purpose. I'm deeply saddened to hear of Janet's passing. We worked together at Somfy for eight years and remained good friends after I left, when we'd meet regularly to catch up. She was a wonderful friend and we had many laughs together, and I'll miss her very much. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. Rest well Janet. Love Natalie x

I worked with Janet for over 12 years and always appreciated her energy and commercial drive. She was a joy to work with, always creating solutions for customers, whilst remaining calm and positive even when things were not going as expected!
We left employment at the same time, going our separate ways but she remained in my memory as one of the best at what she did.

So sorry to hear of Janet's passing at such a relatively young age , I worked with her at Somfy in Leeds for a number of years and she was always a bright and bubbly person and well thought of among her colleagues .

I am so sorry for your loss.
Janet was a lovely lady with a kind heart, she helped me through some quite bad times in my life which I will always be grateful for.
