SCANLON Berenice Died peacefully, after a gritty fight with cancer, aged 85, at Mill View Residential Home on the 5th September 2023 supported by her family and friends. A much loved mother to Chris, Adrian and David; A devoted grandmother to Dan, Lauren, Jake, Hannah, Henry and Lexi. A friend to many she will be sadly missed by all. After supporting the deaf children of Bradford for many years (Odsal House School for the Deaf Moved in 1997 to) Thorn Park School for Deaf Children (Closed 2010)) retirement was one of travel and family. Through the St Vincent de Paul Society she also helped, until the last years, those in need. A life well lived. A Requiem Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Roman Catholic Church on Monday 16th October at 10:30 am. Family flowers only please. Charitable Donations for the Deaf Community will be accepted at the mass. Any enquiries to Edwin Pounds & Sons Funeral Directors 01274 613155.
