WILSON Derek (Willy) Died peacefully on the 8th July 2023 after a long illness, bravely borne. Willy, aged 86 years was the beloved husband of the late Patricia, much loved father of Caroline and Beverley, a dear father-in-law of Paul, loving grandad of Samantha, Rebecca and Millie, great grandad of Arthur and a very dear brother of Margaret and the late Joyce. Lifelong member and supporter of Jer Lane Cricket Club. The funeral service will be held at The Parish Church of St Michael & All Angel, Shelf on Tuesday 1st August at 11.30am followed by cremation at Scholemoor and reception at Clayton Golf Club. Family & friends please meet at the church. Family flowers only by request but donations in memory of Willy may be given to "NHS Charities Together."
