BENDIG Maurice (J.P.) On 29th June 2023 Maurice aged 89 years passed away peacefully at Connaught Court Care Home in York. A former Bradford Magistrate, the beloved husband of Sheila and the late Muriel, a much loved father to Martin, Julie and families, a dear step-father to Kathryn, Jane and families and a good friend to all who knew him. Funeral service will be held at Muff Field Wesleyan Reform Chapel, Tichborne Road, West Bowling, Bradford on Thursday 20th July at 11:00am followed by committal at Nab Wood crematorium. Family flowers only but if desired donations in Maurice's memory may be made to Muff Field Wesleyan Reform Chapel and Royal Masonic Benevolent Institution and there will be a collection box available at the Chapel for this purpose.

Maurice Bendig employed me as a scrawny 16 year old and helped develop me into an Accountant who has stayed in the profession for nearly 50 years. He was a true gent and a boss for whom I always had the utmost respect. Simpson Bendig was never the same once he retired. RIP & God bless Mr B. Top man.
