SLINGSBY Herbert Denby Born 1939 in Shipley to Herbert and Rose Hannah Slingsby, died peacefully in Lincoln on April 10th aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Barbara, adored father of Christine and Paul, father-in-law of Emmanuel and Jane, grandfather of Luke, Ella, Stéphane and Rose and great grandfather of Charlie and Lilly. The funeral service will be held at Idle (Upper Chapel) United Reformed Church, 41, Westfield Lane, Idle, Bradford, on 2nd May at 12.45pm and at Nab Wood Crematorium for the committal at 2pm. Family flowers only please - should friends desire, memorial donations may be made in Denby's name to The Sue Ryder Foundation.
