DRAKE Peter Headley Peacefully on 28th March at Five Rise Nursing Home Peter aged 82 years, Peter a farmer and dairy man. A much loved brother, uncle and well liked by many. Funeral service Wednesday 26th April at St James' Church, Thornton at 1.15pm followed by cremation at Nab Wood. Family flowers only please, donations may be made to Parkinson's Disease Society. A box will be available at the funeral.Tributes

I was so sorry to hear of the passing of Peter Drake who I remember well from school. He could make any student or teacher laugh with his great sense of humour. Students of the time will remember Mr Hexham being left almost unable to speak after one of Peter's witty comments. We hadn't met in many a year but I was sorry to hear he has left us
