OWEN Rodney Edgar 'Rod' Former proprietor of Ace Music Rod's final notes were played on 7th March 2023. He was the much loved husband of Christine and formerly of the late Maureen, a loving dad of Leslie, Zoe and Joanne, dear father-in-law and friend to Adele and Andrew, a proud and much loved grandad of Jordan, Daniel, Taylor, Luke, Paige, Carley and Ethan and great-grandad of Harper-Rose, also a beloved brother, brother-in-law and uncle. Rod's final gig will begin at Scholemoor Crematorium on Friday 24th March 2023 at 2pm, followed by 'Rodstock' at Buttershaw Lane WMC. Please do not wear formal funeral clothes, wear your favourite band t-shirt. Everyone will be welcome to bring their instruments for the jamming session. Family flowers only, donations in his memory may be made online or sent to George Brooke Ltd., Funeral Directors for the benefit of Blood Cancer UK.
