THORNES Marilyn Elizabeth (nee Watson) Peacefully, after a short illness, at Bradford Royal Infirmary, on 19th January 2023, Marilyn, aged 82 years. Beloved wife and soulmate of Colin, special and much loved mum of Simon and Andrew, cherished grandma of Grant and great-grandma to Indi, very dear sister, sister-in-law, mother-in-law, auntie and good friend to many. The Celebration of Marilyn's Life will take place at 12.30pm on Thursday 16th February at Idle Baptist Church, to which all are welcome, followed by a private family committal. No flowers by request, but donations may be made in lieu to Marie Curie Cancer Care - a collection box will be available on the day.
