TOWNEND Shirley nee Allan On 14th December 2022, Shirley died peacefully at her daughter's home aged 80 years, of Wibsey. The dearly loved wife of Raymond, a loving mum of Scott and Beverley, a treasured nana of James, Caitlin and Benjamin, a dear sister of Janette and Joe and sister-in-law, aunty and a good friend to those who knew her. Funeral service will be held on 4th January 2023 at Holdsworth's Cooperative Funeral Care Chapel of Rest at 12:30 pm prior to cremation at Scholemoor. Will friends please meet at the chapel. Family flowers only, but if desired donations in Shirley's memory may be made to Guide Dogs For The Blind and Marie Curie Hospice and a collection box will be available at the chapel for this purpose.
