STIRK Frank Chester On 26th November, aged 84. A loving husband, father, grandad and great-grandad. Frank, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family and his loyal wife Eunice by his side. Cremation was private. Donations if desired to Marie Curie. Thanks to all concerned.Tributes

Grew up with Frank in the Saltaire Road area of Shipley-(Wycliffe Road to be exact) He once carried me all the way home from Manningham Park,after I,d stepped on a broken bottle in the paddling pool-he did,nt put me dow once!!-a very strong guy-R.I.P Frank!

My best mate for over 60 years! At 18 I joined the “Kate” and Frank joined the “Andrew” both as volunteers. Frank was the only person I ever knew that could do a one arm pull up. So it was no surprise that he was recruited into the Devonport Field Gun Team of 1958 where they won many awards. I miss him dearly and always will. RIP Frank your friend Howard Bryan and family.
