DOWNEY John S Suddenly on 11th September, aged 72 years, former policeman and resident of Allerton. Beloved husband of Gail and devoted dad to Andrew and Keir. Funeral Service on 29th September at St Mary's Church, Thornton in Craven at 2pm. Donations, in lieu of flowers may be given at the service for the British Heart Foundation or c/o Brook Smith & Son, Skipton. Dress code colourful.
