OWENS Robin Ernest (1936 - 2022) Robin died peacefully in his sleep on 31st August 2022 following a stroke. One of his sons was with him in his beloved Cyprus where he was buried. He was a local councillor for Bingley for many years, and Lord Mayor of Bradford in 2007/2008. If a celebration of his life is arranged in Bradford details will be published in the Telegraph and Argus at a later date. "I will always remember his generosity of spirit" Archbishop Desmond Tutu

My sincerest condolences to Robins family. I knew Robin for many years, living just a few doors down from him in Harden. Robin was very humble for a man of his standing in society. I remember his humour most of all. We had many laughs. He'll be sadly missed.
