SIR - I refer to your 'Open letter to Bradford Council, Bradford Live and NEC Group'.
Whilst I applaud you for taking this step, albeit much later in the piece than I would have preferred, I hope that you have given all parties a timeline to reply rather than allow them to drag this out further.
You will also be mindful, certainly from the online comments, that many doubt your sincerity here and find the paper’s relationship with our hopeless council a bit too cosy for comfort; perhaps you have a different point of view and that would be good to hear.
Whatever anyone’s political stance there can be no doubt that the leadership of this council has been disastrous for Bradford and the dwindling bunch of us who remain here.
How much longer can the failures of Hinchcliffe, Ross-Shaw and the rest be glossed over largely, I suspect, because nationally nobody gives a stuff about Bradford anymore? Throw the odd titbit like City of Culture...that will keep them quiet!
