Bursting with some of the countries most well-loved reality TV stars, such as the X-Factor’s Christopher Maloney, Britain’s Got Talent’s Steven Hall and Ibiza Weekender’s Ellie Young, Trio Entertainments production of Cinderella is truly a comedic and entertaining addition to the festive season.
Returning once again to the Bradford Playhouse, Vikki Earle kicks off the show expertly in her role as Cinderella, before being joined on stage by Prince Charming himself, Christopher Maloney, who with his stunning voice clearly exhibits why he was an X - Factor favourite.
Ibiza Weekender’s Ellie Young plays dual parts as the Fairy Godmother and Baroness Hardup with ease, leaving the audience in love with her magnetic character and Northern charm, whilst the hilarity of the show is in part due to the comedic pairing of Gary Amos and Steven Hall as Dolche and Gabbana, whose rapport together would suggest that they have been a double act for many years.
A special mention must however go out to one of the UK’s favourite panto stars, Mikey Smith, whose charisma and talent, has the audience captivated from the moment he steps on the stage.
With all the attributes that make up the classic festive pantomime, Cinderella is without a doubt filled with some fantastic dance numbers from the junior cast, catchy song choices and perfectly placed jokes about Bradford.
Coupled with the perfect setting of the historic Bradford Playhouse, what more could any panto lover ask for over the festive period.
Cinderella at the Bradford Playhouse runs until December 30.
