  • No one is too young to enjoy the fun of a summer day at the races, and once a year Ripon Racecourse pulls out all the stops to provide an extra special event for children on Monday . The event promises to be a fantastic afternoon for all the family. Children can experience the excitement of the runners thundering past the rail and watching the horses and jockeys up close in the parade ring, free entertainment is provided for them to enjoy before the racing starts and in-between races including fun inflatables, Kiddies Kub Karts, the Fantasia fun house and balloon modelling. Entry to the course on race days is always free of charge for children under 16 accompanied by an adult and on Children's Day every child also gets a voucher for a free ice cream.
