It's Open Farm Sunday next week. Some farms will be open to the public on Sunday June 10, with events ranging from nature trails to tractor rides. Organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming), it's all aimed at reminding us that farms matter. Two of the books - The Awful Egyptians and The Ruthless Romans - are now stage shows, coming to the Alhambra next Tuesday to Saturday. The story of a punk legend unfolds at the Pictureville Cinema all next week. Joe Strummer: The Future is Unwritten is Julien Temple's engrossing portrait, following Strummer's strange career from his burst on to the punk scene of the Seventies to his post-Clash burn-out, exile and gradual re-emergence. The film runs until Friday, June 8.

Bollywood fever hits Bradford next week, with a range of events celebrating the International Indian Film Academy awards. Get yourself to Centenary Square on Friday at 9.30pm and Saturday at 7pm for dance extravaganza Bollywood Steps and live coverage of the glittering awards ceremony on the BCC Big Screen. A street stall bonanza will be held during the day from Thursday to Saturday.
