Workplace equipment firm Slingsby has taken action to help businesses keep moving if another bad winter strikes.

The firm has invested in a salt distribution centre and bagging plant at its Baildon headquarters to meet demand from an increasing number of organisations stock-piling salt to combat disruption in a severe winter.

The new centre will enable Slingsby to provide next-day delivery anywhere in the UK on a full range of products to tackle snow and ice including salt, rock salt and grit in quantities ranging from 25kg to several tonnes.
