An executive with fond memories of buying Seabrook crisps from his school tuck shop has joined the Bradford-based business as sales director.

Nick Ripley has joined the firm to drive its growth, especially in the South of England, to help achieve the target of reaching an annual turnover of £69 million by 2015.

He has joined Seabrook from Red Mill Snack Foods, where he was commercial director and later multiple sales director when the business was bought by Tayto Group.

Yorkshire-born Mr Ripley began his career at CPC Best Foods, on brands including Hellman’s and Knorr. He then moved to Reckitt & Colman and Tilda Rice. Seabrook recently invested £1.5 million in developing a new range of flavours under the ‘goodbye salt, hello flavour’ title which will be launched next month.
