A Bradford communications expert is full of seasonal cheer after seeing his book outsell tomes from more established authors and stars of Dragons Den.

Darren Kelly, a former radio broadcaster turned communications coach, has seen the audio version of his first book, Love Your Customer, Grow Your Business, soar into the top ten business books on iTunes.

The book, which was recorded at Peak Studios in Bradford, is outselling books from Dragon’s Den stars Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne.

The print version will be published in January.

He said: “I wanted to show companies how to understand a customer’s emotional needs and connect with them more effectively.”

Mr Kelly, of Baildon, said he decided to write the book after seeing how easy it was for businesses to underestimate the importance of good communications and a positive attitude towards customers.
