A Keighley-based security firm has launched a new standalone division in response to demand for its non-electronic fire protection services Keybury Fire and Security has established the Fire Key division to provide services including fire-risk assessments, portable appliance testing, fire extinguisher supply, fitting and service.
It is headed by long-serving Keybury director David Lalor and has also recruited a new engineer, Steven Orange, who holds relevant industry-recognised qualifications.
David said: “Fire-safety regulations remain a burning issue for many companies which, since 2006, must by law have a valid fire-risk assessment in place in order to meet their legal responsibilities and ensure compliance.
“However, there is widespread confusion among businesses as to their actual roles and responsibilities. It’s a minefield.”
Keybury Fire & Security also has offices in Skipton, Ilkley and Harrogate.
