A popular pub restaurant has re-opened following extensive refurbishment.

Paul and Julie Horne took over the Spotted Cow in Whitehall Road, Drighlington, from Enterprise Inns in late September.

Since then they have focused on upgrading the eating area and also made it a haven for cask ale lovers, serving a variety of local beers, including Salamander brewed in Bradford The Spotted Cow was one of ten pubs in the district briefly managed by London Town Pubs which recently went into administration.

It was feared this meant an uncertain future for several locals, but it emerged most were back under the wing of other owners, including Enterprise Inns.
