A NEW restaurant and catering company is set to open its doors in Bradford, offering traditional Kashmiri-style cuisine.
The team behind Chaskah have been busy preparing their premises on Great Horton Road near the Alhambra, with a 30-seat restaurant available as well as specialising in catering services.
They are also offering a takeaway service and have already signed up to Just Eat and Uber Eats delivery services.
Food will be prepared in house by head chef Faisal Mehmood, who has over 20 years of culinary and hospitality experience.
Chef Faisal has worked at a well-renowned hotel in London, which also specialises in catering and events.
He now brings his creativity and passion to Bradford.
He said: “My passion and dedication for food shows through the dishes I prepare.
"My food will make you want to come back again and again."
The restaurant’s menu includes dishes such as Chapli Kebab, Papri Chaat, Nihari, Lahori Haleem and Special Tadka Dhaal.
Meanwhile the catering menu offers Dhahi Ballay, Gol Gappay, Shai Paneer Masala, Daal Makhani and Bhindi Karahi.
Desserts include Lahori Falooda, Kheer, Kulfis, Gajar Halwa and Zarda Rice.

“Our food will set us apart from the rest here.”
He said that Chaskah will specialise in catering for a variety of events across West Yorkshire, including corporate and social events, luncheons, and weddings.
He added: “Chaskah is a full-service catering company who will deliver exceptional service at an unbeatable cost. Our services will include menu creation designed for every clients’ tastes and requirements, waiter services, food preparation, delivery, service, and clean-up.”
