A SILSDEN solicitors is among a national charity campaign’s top fundraisers.
Walker Foster has coined in nearly £41,000 over the past six years as part of Will Aid.
The firm’s Kirkgate branch – together with its offices in Skipton, Barnoldswick and Ilkley – raised £8,475 through the latest campaign.
During the month-long annual venture, people are invited to make a will with participating solicitors and give a donation in lieu of the usual fee.
Funds are distributed to nine UK charities.
“We are delighted to be among the top Will Aid fundraisers in the country,” said Stuart Rowland, Walker Foster partner and head of the firm’s private client department. “This is entirely down to the hard work and dedication of our staff and of course the generosity of our clients.
“Our clients were delighted that we were involved and that the money donated was passed straight to the Will Aid charities.”
