PROCEEDS of around £3 million were generated at the latest property auction held by Eddisons, which has an office in Bradford The firm sold 29 of the 37 lots offered at the sale at Leeds United’s Elland Road stadium.
Robert Limbert, associate director and auctioneer, said: “There was good bidding over all categories, with very little escaping the interest of investors and developers .”
Highlights included a freehold parcel of land on Aberdeen Terrace, Bradford, with planning permission for two detached houses, which sold for £85,000 against a guide price of £80,000-plus.
Two vacant residential properties on Storr Hill in Wyke sold for £60,500 and £55,500, off guides of £45,000 plus and £40,000 plus .
A vacant retail unit on Bradford Road in Idle achieved £20,000.
Eddisons next auction will be in Leeds on May 21.
