Acorn Stairlifts
AN Aire Valley-based company which has a product installed somewhere in the world every nine minutes is included in a league table of Yorkshire businesses with the fastest growing profits.
Acorn Stairlifts, based at Steeton, features in the latest Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table along with nine other regional firms. Acorn which employs nearly 1,000 staff boosted profits by 68 per cent to £16.7 million in the three years to September 2013.
