A HISTORIC mill-based West Yorkshire office complex is now fully occupied following two lettings.
Dave Spink Photography and DH2 Solutions Ltd have moved into the refurbished Sandsgate office area in Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley, where YTV’s Emmerdale and Heartbeat were once filmed.
Sandsgate, which recently underwent a £750,000 modernisation programme, now houses ten companies, bringing 250 jobs, along with an art gallery and coffee shop.
Office space is still available elsewhere in the complex, particularly the renovated 1912 mill.
William Gaunt, joint managing director of Edwin Woodhouse, which owns Sunny Bank Mills, said: “We are delighted to welcome two new tenants to Sandsgate, which is now completely full. Overall, we are now seeing a steady flow of new tenants into Sunny Bank Mills, breathing new life into an historic complex.”
Dave Spink Photography has moved from 4 Red Lane, elsewhere on the Sunny Bank Mills complex, due to expansion. .
DH2 Solutions, which specialises in providing assistance for disabled people living at home, has taken 230 sq ft of quality office space in Sandsgate.
Mike Haigh of Leeds property consultancy Dove Haigh Phillips, which is marketing Sunny Bank Mills with Jones Lang Lasalle, said: “These recent deals endorse the capital expenditure and attention to detail the refurbishment of Sunny Bank Mills has created.”
