A RANGE of new lathes and workholding equipment will be unveiled by Heckmondwike-based machine tool maker 600 UK at a three-day event in June.
The open house from June 2-4 is aimed at UK customers, worldwide distributors and engineering specialists, including additions to Colchester and Harrison lathe and Pratt Burnerd International workholding ranges.Visitors will tour 600 UK’s manufacturing base, modernised in a £750,000 investment in 2014. Taper roller bearings by Gamet Bearings, and laser marking systems by Electrox will be on display. Mike Berry, 600 UK MD said a design and development team worked hard to make ideas a reality.
“This year’s open-house marks the culmination of that work. We are very excited about these new developments and the benefits they will bring to our customers around the world,” he said.
