SISTER company to Yorkshire Water, Keyland Developments, has agreed the sale of a 3.4 acre piece of land at Chellow Grange Road in Bradford for the creation of 58 new affordable homes.
The property trading arm of Kelda Group sold the land, near Chellow Heights water works and reservoir and West Bradford golf course, to housing provider Home Group with planning permission. Community regeneration and housebuilding specialist Keepmoat is to develop 58 low rise, affordable two and three bed family homes for Home Group. Work starts in spring.
with the homes completed in 2016.
Ryan Unsworth, development manager at Keyland Developments Ltd, said: “This land sale will bring back into use a redundant site which, due to its scale and surroundings, is ideally suited to residential development. The agreement with Keepmoat and Home Group will provide a much-needed contribution to the affordable housing needs of the Bradford area.”
