Jane McBennett, an associate solicitor in the clinical negligence team in the Bradford office of at Morrish Solicitors, has been appointed to the Action Against Medical Accidents clinical negligence panel.
AAMA is the UK charity for patient safety and justice.
To be appointed to the panel, a solicitor has to demonstrate expertise and experience in handling clinical negligence claims and undergo a rigorous application and interview process.
Jane , who qualified as a solicitor in 1984, specialises in clinical negligence claims on behalf of claimants who have been injured as the result of medical negligence.
She undertakes a wide variety of clinical negligence work including birth injury, orthopaedic, delayed diagnosis and treatment of injuries and diseases,including cancer, cardiac and brain injury cases and has worked on several notable cerebral palsy birth injury cases on behalf of child claimants in cases worth several million pounds.
Jane said: “I am extremely honoured to be accepted as an AvMA panel member. To be recognised by such a highly respected source is an immense achievement not just for myself, but also for the rest of the clinical negligence team at Morrish Solicitors."
